The RNA (Restorative Nursing Assistant) program provides CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) the knowledge 

and skills to advance their career in long term care.   Participants will learn how to assist patients to reach their 

maximum mobility potential, range of motion, strengthening exercise, ambulating, and transferring techniques, 

activities for daily living, restorative feeding, and documentation.  The CNAs will receive training in theory and

 other practical applications of restorative techniques.

Time: 9:00 AM to 5.30 PM.

NOTE A Certified Nurse Assistant can also use this program to renew his or her CNA license.  The CNA Board will give you 16 hours after you finish this program.  These hours can be applied towards the 48 hours you'll need in order to renew your CNA license every two years.
