RESTORATIVE NURSING ASSISTANT (RNA)

The RNA (Restorative Nursing Assistant) program provides CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) the knowledge 

and skills to advance their career in long term care.   Participants will learn how to assist patients to reach their 

maximum mobility potential, range of motion, strengthening exercise, ambulating and transferring techniques, 

activities for daily living, restorative feeding programs, and documentation.  The CNAs will receive training in

 theory and other practical applications of restorative techniques.


You can also use the 16 hours of RNA program as part of the Continuing Education Units required for the  renewal 

of your CNA or CHHA license.
